The Roster
The heart of HWPO Baseball. Every kid works hard, plays with pride, and makes this program what it is.
Coaching Staff

Head Coach
For Demetri, HWPO isn't just a slogan — it's something burned into his soul. As the founder and Head Coach of HWPO Baseball Club, Demetri built this program from the ground up, starting with a group of 7U kids who won exactly one game their first season. What's happened since is a testament to the culture he's built.
Demetri's coaching philosophy is simple: hard work isn't a one-time effort — it's additive. You show up, you pay your dues, and you keep stacking. He pushes his players to understand that the discipline and work ethic they develop on this field aren't just preparing them for the next tournament — they're preparing them for life.
What makes him proudest isn't the wins. It's watching a group of young men who genuinely love to grind — running hills in the off-season, locking in at practice, and competing with focus and purpose every time they take the field.
Baseball isn't just a job for Demetri — it's the family business. All three of his kids play, and the game is woven into just about everything he does. He wouldn't have it any other way.

Assistant Coach
Garrett brings 20+ years of playing experience and five years of youth coaching to the HWPO staff. He's been part of the program since the 7U season — serving as Head Coach during a transitional period before settling into his current role as Assistant Coach.
On the field, Garrett focuses on defensive instruction, catcher development, and working with pitchers and catchers on game planning. Off it, he designs the team's strength, speed, and athletic development programs — built around explosiveness, agility, and long-term athleticism.
His coaching philosophy is simple: make it fun, make it stick. He believes young athletes learn best when they're engaged, and that confidence is built through fundamentals, accountability, and a love for the game.
For Garrett, this program is personal — his son Kolton is a proud member of the team. He's not just developing baseball players. He's helping shape young men who compete with character and carry the HWPO values with them long after the final out.

assistant Coach
Dylan's love for baseball started young and carried him through his high school years as a player. Beyond playing the game, he's been a lifelong fan of the sport — and the lessons it taught him about discipline, teamwork, and accountability have had a lasting impact on his life.
What drives Dylan as a coach is watching players develop and grow, both on the field and off it. He takes pride in identifying mistakes and bad habits early, helping players make the right adjustments, and seeing their confidence build over time. He feeds off the energy and enthusiasm young athletes bring to the game every day. He looks at every one of these boys like they're his own.
Dylan's coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that the game itself is the greatest teacher — and that a player who understands why they're doing something will always outwork one who doesn't.
When he's not on the field, Dylan is outdoors — hunting, fishing, or finding any excuse to be near the water. Beach, lake, or creek bank, it doesn't matter much as long as he's outside with the people he cares about.
